June 16th Women's Seminar at CrossFit Balance

Join Us...

WHO: Women of all fitness levels, backgrounds and professions.

WHAT: A 4 hour work shop with a physical component, Conjugate strength overview, leadership educational portion, spiritual overview, mental practices and tips, relationship building with other women, and Q&A with Taylor

WHEN: June 16th from 12pm-4pm

WHERE: CrossFit Balance 

WHY: To foster relationship building between like minded women, help women become more effective leaders, and provide tools to help enhance their overall daily habits and practices for increased happiness and quality of life.

Friday-

1830 "Meet and Greet" at Silver House Chicken. 

Saturday-

0845-1100 Volunteer work with Matthew 25. (The mission of Matthew 25: Ministries is to fulfill Matthew 25:34-40 by providing nutritional food to the hungry, clean water to the thirsty, clothing to the naked, shelter to the homeless, medical care to the ill, and humanitarian supplies to prisoners.)  

1230-1730 Seminar at CrossFit Conjugate. 

Sunday-

0730-0830 Optional Bible study/morning devotional at CrossFit Conjugate. 

0830-1130 Seminar at CrossFit Conjugate.

Overview:

Valkyrie Performance was designed in October 2016 by Taylor to help women add value to their lives in order to become more effective leaders in male dominant environments.  Taylor’s desire is to host an annual gathering of women athletes from all over the world to ignite human connection and build a community of women who desire to thrive in preparation for, and while serving our Nation in leadership capacities.  She intends to foster strong and healthy relationships through acts of service, physical training, guided discussions, and education. Taylor will provide women the tools to overcome their vulnerabilities and to become a woman of positive influence in our American society.

Objectives:  

  • Build cohesion between women leaders.

  • Provide community service to those in need. 

  • Identify current issues and trends consistently observed in women leaders in order to create awareness and provide solutions. 

  • Define "Feminism." 

  • Educate women on mindset practices and habits.

  • Create personal mission statement, vision/dreamline, action steps, and core values. 

  • Conduct physical training and complete the annual "Valkyrie" workout. 

  • Enhance overall education on the Conjugate Method. 

  • Employ proper band/chain set up techniques.

  • Implement variables for accommodating resistance when equipment options are limited.

  • Experience optional women's group Bible study/devotional.

Laura Phelps Sweatt: Accomplished woman leader, business owner, Conjugate Methods CrossFit specialty seminar staff member, CrossFit athlete and multiple world record holder powerlifter. 

Susan Lanier: Taylor's sweet Aunt Susan will be leading the optional Bible study/devotional on Sunday morning.
